4 Reasons Why A Personalised Mug Is The Ideal Gift

We all know at least one person who is really hard to buy gifts for. You rack your brains for ages trying to think of the perfect birthday present for them, and as soon as you think of a great idea, you find out that they already own the item! So it’s back to the drawing board again… What gift can you give to the person who has everything? Answer: a mug! And not just any mug, a personalised one. We all love a good brew, so a mug of any kind makes an ideal gift whether you’re struggling for ideas or not.

Here are four reasons why personalised mugs make the ideal gift…

  1. Personalisation: Obviously the key selling point of a personalised mug is the fact that it can be personalised! From photos to words, you can print anything onto a mug to personalise it and make it a really special gift for the recipient. A meaningful photo or an inspirational quote can add a special, individual touch to a mug, and secure it a place in the favoured tea receptacle rotation!
  2. Practicality: The majority of people enjoy a nice cup of tea, coffee, or other hot drink, so a mug is a practical gift that will always be well-received. There’s no such thing as too many mugs; it’s good to have a variety of different-sized mugs in your armoury for different hot beverage-drinking needs.
  3. Customisation: A mug in its own right is a gift worth giving, but there are also a great many ways in which you can customise it and make it into an even better gift. For example, you could include hot chocolate powder and marshmallows; coffee granules and a miniature bottle of whisky/brandy/Irish cream etc; fill it with the recipient’s favourite sweets; or provide the dry ingredients and a recipe for a mug cake.
  4. Versatility: Not only can a mug be used for drinking hot beverages, it also has a number of other uses. There are certain foods that can be consumed from a mug, such as soup or porridge. Aside from eating and drinking, mugs can also be used as storage devices; for example, they can be used for keeping pens and pencils etc neat on a desk. A fun mug could also be used to store trinkets in the bedroom, cutlery and utensils in the kitchen, or toothbrushes in the bathroom; the possibilities are almost endless!
